We're proud to announce that kink — a documentary produced by James Franco and directed by Christina Voros about Kink.com — will premiere at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah next January. James Franco became enamored with Kink.com while shooting About Cherry, the feature film produced at Kink's Armory Studios, last summer. The documentary will give viewers an unexpurgated look behind the scenes at the world's leading producer of fetish entertainment, and its incredibly kinky staff.
"Anyone who watches kink will come away with new impression about BDSM and how kinky porn is made," says Peter Acworth, founder of Kink.com. "Since our mission is to demystify alternative sexualities, I am delighted that James and Christina took the time to tell this story!"
Voros describes the documentary in the Sundance program as "a story of sex, submission and big business ... told through the eyes of the unlikely pornographers whose 9:00-to-5:00 work days are spent within the confines of the San Francisco Armory building, home to the sprawling porn production facilities of Kink.com."
We'll be posting the trailer for kink in the coming weeks.
